UpTicker (this site, joanstocks.com) is an independently run momentum screener that surfaces publicly available market data for stocks and cryptocurrencies trading under $5. Questions about this policy or the site can be sent to mobilivintagestudio@gmail.com.
UpTicker does not require an account or login to use, and most of the site collects no personal information at all. If you use the "save a snapshot" feature, that data is stored only in your own browser's local storage — it is never transmitted to or stored on our servers, and clearing your browser data removes it.
If you sign up for email signal alerts, we store the email address you provide, along with a subscription status and timestamp, so we can send you those alerts. We use this address only to send the alerts you signed up for and to operate the subscription itself (confirmation and unsubscribe emails) — we don't sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it for any other marketing. Signup uses double opt-in (you must click a confirmation link before any alerts are sent), and every alert email includes a one-click unsubscribe link that removes your address immediately. Alert emails are delivered through Resend, our email service provider, which processes your address solely to deliver those messages — see Resend's privacy policy.
Our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically logs standard technical information for every visit — such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps — for security and performance purposes, consistent with Vercel's privacy policy.
This site is monetized in part through Google AdSense. Live market data is sourced from Alpha Vantage, a third-party financial data provider; no personal information about you is sent to Alpha Vantage as part of that request.
